COGEFRIN can receive at ports containerised goods accompanied by bill of ladings specifying Cogefrin as the “consignee”. Our staff members at port facilities perform all customs clearance operations and issue T1 documents in order to transfer bonded goods to our hubs in Bologna. The goods are stored in our bonded warehouses A4 (pallets, silos or bulk containers) and can be packed differently and distributed by own trucks (bulk and pallets) to end customers all over Italy and Europe.




In cogefrin hubs the following operations are performed:
Take in
Storage (with modern technologies) in silos, bulk containers and pallets
Repacking (bag slitting, 25 kg bags and big bags bagging operations, octabin loading)
Loading on trucks, silotrucks and containers

Cogefrin organises intermodal shipments (by making up its own block trains) on a daily basis from the ports of La Spezia, Genoa, Livorno, Trieste and Ravenna.


COGEFRIN can rely on an in-house customs service with specialised and authorised staff.
